This Clarification Text has been prepared by Globivoy Tourism LLC ("Company") in its capacity as the data controller, within the scope of the Personal Data Protection Law No. 6698 ("KVKK") and relevant legislation, in order to explain to you the purposes of processing your personal data, legal reasons, collection methods, to whom and for what purposes it can be transferred, and your rights under the KVKK, within the scope of travel, tour, and reservation services offered through the Globivoy (www.globivoy.com) website.
1. Your Collected Personal Data and Collection Methods
Your personal data—such as name, surname, Turkish ID number (or passport number), e-mail address, phone number, address, payment and financial information (credit card details), IP addresses, and in-site cookie data—is collected by our Company through automated or non-automated methods via the www.globivoy.com website, mobile applications, call center, and similar channels.
2. Purposes of Processing Personal Data
Your collected personal data is processed in accordance with the personal data processing conditions specified in Articles 5 and 6 of the KVKK for the following purposes:
- Realization, tracking, and management of tour, hotel, transfer, and travel reservation transactions.
- Establishment and performance of distance sales contracts and travel contracts.
- Performing payment transactions securely and operating 3D Secure systems.
- Fulfillment of information retention, reporting, and notification obligations required by legal regulations.
- Management of customer relations and resolution of requests and complaints.
- Sending commercial electronic messages for campaign, advertising, promotion, and informational purposes, provided that you have given your explicit consent.
3. To Whom and For What Purpose Processed Personal Data May Be Transferred
Your personal data may be transferred, in line with the realization of the purposes stated above, to our business partners, hotel and accommodation facilities, airline and transportation companies, authorized public institutions and organizations to fulfill our legal obligations, and banks and financial institutions providing payment infrastructure, within the framework of the conditions specified in Articles 8 and 9 of the KVKK.
4. Rights of the Personal Data Owner Under the KVKK
Pursuant to Article 11 of the KVKK, as a data owner, you can exercise the following rights by applying to our Company:
- Learning whether your personal data is processed or not,
- Requesting information if your personal data has been processed,
- Learning the purpose of processing personal data and whether they are used in accordance with their purpose,
- Knowing the third parties to whom personal data is transferred at home or abroad,
- Requesting the correction of personal data in case they are incomplete or incorrectly processed,
- Requesting the deletion or destruction of your personal data within the framework of the conditions stipulated in the KVKK legislation,
- Objecting to the emergence of a result against the person himself/herself by analyzing the processed data exclusively through automated systems,
- Requesting compensation for damages in case of loss due to unlawful processing of personal data.
